Felix Dupont is from Sherbrooke in the Eastern Townships. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BAA) as well as a Masters of Science in Finance (M.SC. Finance) from the University of Sherbrooke.

After his studies, Felix moved to Montreal to work for Fidelity Investments funds. He had various roles within this company, including 3 years as District Vice-President for New Brunswick. In these different roles at Fidelity, Felix had the chance to work with hundreds of financial advisors in Quebec and New Brunswick. He was thus able to learn to avoid the mistakes and pitfalls of the profession and instead adopt the good habits of financial advisors who are successful and who create added value for their clients.

In 2020, Felix returned to Quebec to settle in Candiac and took over the reins of his father-in-law's business who had been a financial advisor for the past 30 years. Felix completed his courses and permits in order to obtain the titles of Investment Fund Advisor and Financial Security Advisor. He then established Dupont Financial Services Inc. in 2021.
